Horizon Power has successfully rolled out advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) across six remote communities in the Kimberley, unlocking future benefits and savings for some of Western Australia’s most isolated communities.

A new hybrid renewable energy project jointly funded by the State and Commonwealth governments will deliver safer, more reliable and cleaner energy to the remote Western Australian community of Blackstone (Papulankutja).
During the 2024–25 summer season, the Remote Operations and Regional Service Provider (RSP) teams prepared, monitored and responded to the impacts of 11 tropical cyclones and 7 tropical lows, which significantly restricted our ability to access communities to provide services and supplies.
